AUSTRIAN SUBSIDIES FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN ELECTRIC BIKE


NATIONAL LEVEL

  • Private:  Only for cargo/transport bikes with load weight capacity of over 80 kg.
  • Businesses: 150€ from a sports retailer + 200 euros BMK a total of 350 euros per bicycle (instead of the previous 200 euros)   Requirement: Applications for funding for electric bicycles must contain a minimum of 5 e-bicycles.

LOCAL LEVEL

  • Vienna

Cargo/Transport Bikes: A maximum of 50 percent of the net purchase price up to an amount of 1000€ will be refunded. If the bike is an e-bike, the funding amount increases to a maximum of 1,000 euros. The promotion applies to newly purchased transport bikes. There is a retention period of two years.
