COOKIE NOTICE
eu.super73.com

Introduction

This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy.  It explains the types of cookies and similar technologies that may be placed on your device when you visit www.super73.com or eu.super73.com (the “Website”) to personalise your use of the Website or provide you with the most relevant products and services.  This Notice also explains related rights and choices you have.

What is a Cookie?

A traditional cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device when you visit or use a website. Cookies are used to “remember” you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a “session cookie”) or for multiple repeat visits (using a “persistent cookie”). Cookies ensure a consistent and efficient experience for visitors, and perform essential functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in.

Cookies may be set by the web domain of the site that you are visiting, which we refer to as “first party cookies.”  Some cookies may be set by a third party web domain other than the site that you are visiting, such as those who serve content or provide advertising or analytics services to the owner of the website, which we refer to as “third party cookies”.

Websites and emails may also contain pixels (also known as web beacons), which can track your activity across different sites or report how you interact with emails or other online content.  These are typically small transparent images that provide the party placing them with statistics and usage data, for similar purposes as cookies.  They are often used in conjunction with cookies, though they are not stored on your device in the same way as cookies. As a result, if you disable cookies in your browser settings, tracking pixels may still load, but their functionality may be restricted.

When you visit or use a website that uses cookies, or interact with an email or other online content that contains a web beacon, your browser or device sends a request to the party that placed that Cookie.  In doing so, your browser or device may automatically provide your IP address, browsing data, or other Personal Information to that party.  Our Privacy Policy explains how Super73 collects, uses and shares Personal Information.

Why Super73 Uses Cookies

We use Cookies for several different purposes. Some Cookies are necessary for technical reasons; some enable a personalized experience for both visitors and registered users; some allow the display of advertising from selected third party networks; and some allow us to measure performance of marketing efforts. Some of these Cookies may be set when a page is loaded, or when a user takes a particular action. Many of the Cookies we use are only set if you are a registered user, while others are set whenever you visit or use our Website or other online service (irrespective of whether you have an account).

We set Cookies in different locations across our services.  These locations may include:

  • Our U.S. website, super73.com
  • Our EU website, eu.super73.com
  • Certain e-mails sent by us or on our behalf.

This list describes the categories of Cookies used on Super73’s Website and other online services:

  • Essential.  These cookies are essential for our Services to perform their basic functions, like page navigation and access to secure areas of the Websites.
  • Analytics.  These cookies help us to determine how our Website is being used.
  • Advertising.  These cookies are used to make advertising messages more relevant to you.  They help re-engage with visitors to our site based on online behavior across websites.

Our Partners And Their Cookies

The Analytics and Advertising Cookies described above include third party cookies placed by our analytics and marketing partners.  These partners include, but may not be limited to:

Google Tag Manager is a script (tool) that facilitates the installation of non-essential Google Analytics Cookies (see below) and marketing cookies. It is essential to the proper functioning our site, and it does not have an expiration date.

You can find more information about Google Analytics cookies here:

You may install a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on by going here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

You can find more information about Google Ads cookies, including how you can limit them through Google, here:

https://policies.google.com/technologies/types?hl=en-US

Separately, when using our Website, you may encounter links to other websites for such activities as surveys, to make payments in certain currencies, or for job applications.  These websites may use their own cookies when you click on the link.  We do not have control over the placement of cookies by these other websites, even if you link to them from our website.

How to Control and Delete Cookies

Our Cookie Preferences Tool can be used to customize your cookie preferences.  The tool will record when you have consented to non-Essential Cookies (where such consent is required by applicable law).  The Cookie Preferences Tool controls the non-Essential Cookies used on our Website, and you can use it to withdraw your consent for those Cookies at any time.  Essential Cookies cannot be disabled, nor can the tool be used to block Cookies on other websites that you may link to from our Website.

Many of the Cookies used on our Website and through emails can be enabled or disabled through your browser.  To disable cookies through your browser, follow the instructions usually located within the “Help,” “Tools,” or “Edit” menus in your browser.  Please note that disabling a cookie or category of cookies does not delete the cookie from your browser.  To delete cookies from your browser, you must select that option separately in your browser settings.

Cookies That Have Been Set in the Past

Collection of your data from our analytics cookies can be deleted. If cookies are deleted, the information collected prior to the preference change may still be used, however, we will stop using the disabled cookie to collect any further information from your user experience. For our marketing cookie, when a user opts out of tracking, a new cookie is placed to prevent users from being tracked.
